Terri Laurence, P.E.

Ms. Laurence joined ESI as a senior-level Project Engineer in early 1993. She is a registered P.E. in three states, and brought to ESI eight years of experience in both new construction and retrofit design of air handling units, chillers, boilers, and energy management systems. She has focused her work on HVAC design and energy audits for private, commercial, industrial, and government projects. She is also proficient in the use of a variety of engineering software and computerized analysis programs, including Trane Trace, DOE-II and other loads analysis programs.

At ESI, Ms. Laurence has specialized in utility-sponsored DSM projects and has been the lead HVAC engineer for traditional design and construction projects.

Most recently, Ms. Laurence was employed with R.G. Vanderweil Engineers in Boston, working primarily on DSM programs, including energy analysis for a local high-rise office building. Prior to relocating to New England, she worked with VanKirk Engineering in Texas as a Project Engineer. During her several years with VanKirk, Ms. Laurence's projects included the complete analysis and design of a 1500-ton chiller replacement project for a medical center, various technical analysis for the State of Texas' Energy Savings Program, and extensive experience with both new and retrofit design of various HVAC systems. Ms. Laurence's experience also includes several years of project and design engineering with firms in California and Illinois.

Ms. Laurence is a member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE), the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE), and the Association of Demand Side Management Professionals (ADSMP).
